The voice of the clubs…

football2Irrespective of the revenues generated by club football on one hand and national team football on the other, it is not the perception of G-14 that there is less importance being placed on the national teams. Club football and national team football are complementary; it is just a question of finding the right balance between the two and setting the right conditions (rights & duties) for clubs on one hand and federations on the other.

In the past, and due to the existing structures of the governing bodies, most of the conflicting matters between club football and national team football were resolved to the detriment of the clubs. It has been one of the top priorities of G-14 to strengthen the position of the clubs and to defend their legitimate interests in an environment dominated by the federations.
