A. The terms preceded by a capital letter are defined in Article 1 below.
B. The General Terms and Conditions of Use are intended to define the methods and conditions for using the site as well as the rights and obligations of G-14 and the Users in this context.
C. The User states he has read the General Terms and Conditions of Use and fully adheres to them. The User declares that he is familiar with and understands the Internet and its limits, especially its functional characteristics and technical performances, the risk of interruption, the response time for consulting, querying or transferring information, the risks, of whatever nature, inherent in any transfer of data, notably on an open network and more generally in any connection to the network.
D. The Users also declare that they have received from G-14 all the information and warnings necessary for using the Site and appreciating the consequences that may result from that use.

1.1 General Terms and Conditions of Use: this document, including any later modifications and any further conditions issued by G-14 from time to time.
1.2 Site: the website(s) (including any change or updates) operated by G-14 whose Internet address is: [www.g14clubs.com] (and any other Internet address chosen by G-14 , as well as any other substitute website decided on by G-14 .
1.3 User: any visitor to the Site.
ARTICLE 2 – ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE SITE – MODIFICATIONS
2.1 Use of the Site implies unconditional acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Use and the site cannot be used without full compliance with them.
2.2 G-14 reserves the right, at all times, to modify all or part of the General Terms and Conditions of Use and/or the Site itself. Any modification comes into force as soon as it is put on line and Users are deemed to have accepted it by the mere fact of access to and use of the Site from that date.
ARTICLE 3 – ACCESS TO THE SITE – OPERATION – SECURITY
3.1 It is incumbent on Users to procure the appropriate equipment, especially computer, telecommunications and security devices, to obtain access to the Site and use it, and to maintain this equipment in good condition. All costs and expenses for equipment, communication, telecommunication and other items needed to connect to and use the Site as well as any permit required to that effect shall be paid by the User.
3.2 The User is advised to configure his equipment with the following parameterisation to give optimal viewing:

3.3 Reading PDF files on line on the Site requires Acrobat Reader. Users can download this software free of charge from the Site (Download Acrobat Reader, latest version in French), or from any other Internet site, on the terms and conditions indicated on that site.
3.4 G-14 try to make the Site accessible round the clock. However, testing, verification and maintenance operations, and repair work in the event of failures, may be carried out by G-14 at any time.
3.5 Users undertake not to disrupt the proper functioning of the Site in any way whatsoever, and notably not to unreasonably overload the passbands, not to send to or through the Site any element which may contain a virus, Trojan horse, logic bomb or any other element which may damage, intercept or interfere with all or part of the Site.
ARTICLE 4 – HYPERTEXT LINKS
4.1 Hypertext links may appear on the Site and lead to other websites (particularly through in G-14 ‘s members), including G-14 partners such member clubs, Inasmuch as G-14 cannot control the content of these websites, the Users acknowledge that G-14 cannot be held liable for, notably, the products, services and information available on and/or through these websites.
4.2 Any User may create hypertext links towards the Site from his own site or sites on condition that (i) he sends G-14 prior notice of his intention to create such a hypertext link and receives express permission from G-14 to do so, (ii) the information about the G-14 ‘s rights and any other information on the Site is not altered or masked, and (iii) he agrees to disconnect the hypertext link if so requested by G-14 .
ARTICLE 5 – DECLARATIONS – GUARANTEES – LIABILITY
5.1 G-14 makes no guarantee, express, implicit, legal or otherwise, and excludes in particular any guarantee concerning the accuracy of the content of its Site and/or its ability to meet the expectations and/or particular needs of any User. More particularly, G-14 excludes any guarantee and liability for any information, of a general nature or otherwise, for any advice or comments that it might make on or through the Site (including in a more personalised manner in answer to a question sent by electronic means to G-14 by a User) notably concerning the use of the products produced by G-14 .
5.2.1 G-14 cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage due to any interruption or dysfunction whatsoever, or a suspension of the Site, for any reason whatsoever, or for any direct or indirect damage which may result in any way whatsoever from connection to and/or use of the Site. It is incumbent on each User to take all appropriate measures to protect his data and/or the software stored in his computer equipment against any damage, in particular by making the necessary print-outs or back-up copies. The Users connect to the Site at their own risk. Moreover, G-14 cannot under any circumstances be held liable, for any financial or commercial loss which a User or third partly may have sustained through use of the Site, notably, loss of profit, loss of turnover, loss of an order, loss of data, deprivation of savings, or any additional expense, as well as any deterioration of its image. It is agreed, where necessary, that these losses are consequential losses which therefore do not entitle the person to compensation from G-14 even if these losses could have been foreseen by G-14 or if it had been informed that they might occur.
ARTICLE 6 – FAILURE – CANCELLATION
6.1 The User shall be liable for any failure to comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Use.
6.2 Any infringement of the General Terms and Conditions of Use may lead to a ban on using the Site, decided on by G-14 alone, without prejudice to other rights and recourse open to G-14 .
ARTICLE 7 – COPYRIGHT
7.1 Subject to any rights owned by partners of G-14 or any other third parties, Users acknowledge that the Site (including all the information accessible as part of the Service, notably in the form of texts, photos, images, sound, data, data bases and downloadable programmes, including the underlying technology), is protected by copyright and/or other rights owned by G-14 or which it has permission to use. The only right conferred on Users by the General Terms and Conditions of Use is the right to receive temporarily on their equipment, all or part of the Site, for their personal use. The Users may under no circumstances reproduce, represent, modify, transmit, publish, or adapt on any medium whatsoever, information from the Site and the Site itself, without the prior written permission of G-14 . However are excluded of above stipulated the downloadable version of media briefing kit and pictures located in “Press Center” window of this website, provided they are captioned : “©g14clubs.com”.
7.2 Users must conform to all the statements concerning copyright and other rights belonging to G-14 (or to third parties) on the Site and not change, delete or modify them or use them without the prior written permission of G-14 , or otherwise affect them.
ARTICLE 8 – OTHER PROVISIONS
8.1 If one or several provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Use are declared null and void or lapsed by the application of a law, or contract or a final legal or administrative ruling by a competent court, the other provisions shall retain their force and scope.
8.2 Any claim and/or complaint by the User with respect to G-14 shall be notified to G-14 within [seven (7) days] of the trigger occurrence, failing which it shall lapse.
9.2 For the application of this document and any documents that might follow, G-14 ‘s address for service is its registered office.
ARTICLE 9 – APPLICABLE LAW – DISPUTES
9.1 The construction and execution of the General Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by the Belgian law.
9.2 In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to try to settle the matter out of court. Failing a friendly settlement, any dispute regarding the execution, construction and extinction of the General Terms and Conditions of Use, notwithstanding the number of defendants or appeals against the guarantor, including in the case of a summary application to a single judge, shall be brought before the relevant BelgianCourt.
